Our story

Zebz OutFooter opened its doors in December 2022 with a simple idea: Woodland Park deserved a shop that took outdoor footwear seriously. Not a big-box wall of options with no one around to help — a real store staffed by people who run these trails, hike these peaks, and know the difference between a shoe that sounds good online and one that actually performs at 8,500 feet.

We are a locally owned, independent retailer anchored in downtown Woodland Park. Every brand we carry was chosen deliberately: durable, trail-tested, and worth the investment. If it's on our shelves, someone on our team has worn it, run in it, or hiked in it on a Teller County trail.

Who we are

Zebz OutFooter is owned by Lynn Jones and George Jones, both of Woodland Park, Colorado. Lynn leads the day-to-day operations and is the face you're most likely to meet when you walk through the door. George brings business and community experience to the ownership partnership — including serving as Mayor of Woodland Park.

Together they also co-own Colorado GearLab, Woodland Park's outdoor gear and apparel shop founded in February 2018 — making the Jones family the only ownership group in Woodland Park to have earned the Greater Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award with two separate businesses.

What we carry

Our focus is footwear and accessories built for outdoor life in the Pikes Peak region — trail running shoes, hiking boots, approach footwear, and the socks, gaiters, and accessories that complete the kit. We carry men's, women's, and kids' options with an emphasis on brands that perform on real terrain.
